Took a similar idea of Pinterest and did my own flare.  What do you think?

Updating my HUGE Entertainment Center

Here is my entertainment center NOW:

This was it BEFORE:

In the process:

1.  First I deglossed the finish.
2.  I then primed all the doors and whole center with tinted primer (looks gray in the pictures).

3.  I then went and painted everything with Valspar's "Betsy Ross House Brown."

Here is a picture of one section done (deglossed, primed, and painted).

4.  I finished by sanding the edges to give it the "shabby chic"/ worn look.

What do you think?  I think it looks like an ENTIRE new piece of furniture!

It's a great place to share all kinds of creative ideas. I started this blog so that I can share some of my ideas/ transformations I have done over the last several years. Why not share?
